Incomplete reclaimed antique fireplaces are a potential danger if refitted by inexperienced builders or DIYers. Building Regulations require fittings to be carried out by fully registered and approved installers. Due to the terms of our insurance policies, we are unable to offer any technical advice or assistance unless a site visit, inspection and survey have been carried out.
