Amazing Grates has a substantial showroom in East Finchley, north London with at least 40 fireplaces on display ranging in period from the Georgian era, through the Victorian to the Arts and Crafts, Edwardian and contemporary. We particularly specialise in marble and limestone mantelpieces made in our workshops but these days there is particular emphasis on the energy efficient fires be it to burn wood, a carbon neutral process, or highly efficient gas fires. As the London stockists for Gatwood and Elcombe, Stovax, Gazco, Drugasar, Mantles, Gallery and others we use a broad range of suppliers. Our products include marble, stone and wood mantels, cast iron inserts, stoves, firebaskets and grates; marble, granite, tiles, slate and limestone for hearths, gas coal fires, electric fires, fireside accessories and maintenance products. We are a supply company but work closely with chimney sweeps, the Gas Safe Register (formerly corgi) gas fitters, fireplace installers and chimney specialists.
